Mother’s Day is coming up! To help you get the perfect gift ready, I thought I’d share some creative, meaningful Mother’s Day gift ideas.
Top 25 Mother’s Day Gift Ideas:
1. A list of all the things you love about her.
2. Handstamped jewelry (like this beautiful necklace my husband got for me a few years ago from The Vintage Pearl). Mine has four hearts for each of the babies we lost to miscarriage, as well as both of my boys’ names on it. I’ve also seen handstamped jewelry with a child’s handwriting on it, and I LOVE this idea!
3. My devotional for moms, Searching for Sanity. (I mean, really, what mom doesn’t feel like they’re searching for sanity at some point or another?)
4. Chocolate Covered Strawberries. (I pinned a delicious recipe here. The key to a good chocolate dipped strawberry is to make sure the berry is completely dry before you dip it in the chocolate. Otherwise, the chocolate won’t stick as well.)
5. An appointment at a spa (massage, pedicure, manicure, haircut and style…need I say more?)
6. A homemade growth chart like the one on the side of this post. Add handprints of each person in your family for an extra special touch.
7. A collection of some of your family’s favorite recipes. (An easy way to do this is to type them up, print them out, and add them to a three-ring binder.)
8. A handprint gift. (A few years ago, my hubby picked up a kit to make handprint outdoor stones from Walmart. It was less than 20 bucks, a fun craft for me to do with my kids, and a great keepsake!)
9. A photo collage (or photo frame with multiple openings that you have filled with family photos).
10. An appointment with a photographer to get family photos.
11. A video of her children saying how much they love her.
12. A day or night out kid-free (with her friends, with a book, by herself, or with her husband).
13. Housecleaning services (either you clean her home for a month or you hire someone to do it for her).
14. A shadowbox filled with precious mementos from the kids (like sweet notes, favorite toys, a piece of a blanket, a favorite pacifier, etc).
15. An audio recording of her children telling her something they love about her (or…a recordable storybook with an older child reading to her).
16. If you’re good at photo editing, create a picture with your child holding a sign that says, “I Love you!”
17. A nap.
18. A date (or better yet…one-on-one dates with each of her children and with her husband).
19. Anything hand-painted. (One year, my husband painted this for me at a local pottery store. I LOVE it!)
20. A Bible, engraved with her name or a special message.
21. Framed artwork from the children.
22. A kindle, loaded with books you know she’ll love to read.
23. A planned vacation (meaning…you have already planned it for her!)
24. Giftcards to her favorite stores (that she HAS to spend on herself)…because many moms have a hard time buying something for themselves.
25. Handwritten letters from each of her children and from her husband.
