Did you use last week’s date night discussion starters? If so, I hope they created some great discussion for you and your spouse! I’ve got the second week of Printable Discussion Starters for you below.
One thing my husband and I have learned in our 13 years of marriages is that if we know our strengths and weaknesses as individuals, we can work better as a team.
For instance, one of my strengths is attention to details. Keith knows this about me and has learned to use it to our advantage. On the other hand, one of my weaknesses is a tendency to worry. He knows this about me too and has learned to balance my stress with his lightheartedness.
We’re different, yes, but those differences don’t have to lead to fights-if we’ll learn how to work together as a team. Use the questions below to figure out your strengths and weaknesses as a couple.
Date Night Discussion Starters (part of 4):
1. What do you think is your greatest strength?
2. What do you think is your greatest weakness?
3. What can I do to encourage you this week?
4. What is one thing you appreciate about our relationship?
5. What is one thing you would like to improve in our relationship?
Hi Lindsey, This is some great advice. You know even as we get into our golden years of marriage we need to continue our "date night". My husband and I are so busy in ministry and we spend 24 x 7 (almost) together. But there is something about "date night". It is a special time that we look forward to. Thanks for this! You are my neighbor over at Sheila's Wifey Wednesday today. You can find me at http://christianeveryday.com. Blessings!
