I’m all about finding easy and inexpensive gift ideas, especially when you’re making something someone can actually use.

Here is one of my favorite DIY housewarming or wedding gift ideas:

To make this, you’ll need the following:

Kitchen Towels (at least 4)
Measuring Cups
A Cookie or Brownie Mix
An Oven Mitt
A Large Rubber Band and Several Smaller Rubber Bands
Ribbon (that matches your towels)

1. Roll your towels and tie them with rubber bands.
2. Arrange all of your items into a circle and then wrap the large rubber band around the whole thing.
3. Use your ribbon to cover the large rubber band, and tie a bow to finish it off.

You could certainly make this larger by adding more towels, mixing spoons, spatulas, etc.

Simple as that!
