When Life Doesn’t Go As Planned: Part 1 of Our Miscarriage Story

A few weeks ago, I had the honor of chatting with an author friend of mine, Cathy Krafve. We talked about my story of miscarriage and how Keith and I have been able to walk away from those unbeaten (bruised and different than we were before, yes, but still unbeaten). The first half of that talk radio interview is live here. The second half of the interview will be live in a week or two.

Cathy is one of the sweetest people I have ever met! If I could adopt her as a family member, I absolutely would do so. Her Texas accent alone makes her such a fun person to talk to. But add to that her kindness, her encouraging spirit, and the way that the love of God just flows out of her….I mean, seriously, friends, she is a beautiful soul.

I hope you’ll take a few minutes to listen in to my interview with her. You can even download it directly from her site by clicking on the title of my interview that is located here.

When Life Doesn’t Go as Planned: Part 1 of our Miscarriage Story

When Keith and I first got married at 19 and 20 years old, we never imagined that losing 4 babies to miscarriage would be a part of our “for better or for worse” story. We didn’t expect it. But it happened to us. Not once. Not twice or even three times. Four times, we mourned a baby we couldn’t wait to hold.

Our story, though, didn’t end there. God worked in and through those losses.

I share more about this during my interview with Cathy. Check it out here.

If you’d like to read more about how I’ve worked through my miscarriages (with my faith intact) or if you find yourself asking God questions like, “Where are you in this?” I’d love for you to check out my Bible study and devotional, Unbeaten.

Or, if you want to read more of  my miscarriage posts, you can do that here.

It can be read alone or with a group and goes into a lot more detail about how you too can be unbeaten, even when it feels impossible at the moment.
